Easy walk for people of all ages. Beautiful ocean views with stops along the way to swim. The trail starts at the edge of the Willington Beach Campsite and ends at the Powell River townsite.

A walk along the Powell River Beach Area. Scenic, full of old mining equipment, some beautiful red cedars, interesting tree formations. Easy walk

We live in Powell River and have taken this trail many times. We’ve seen squirrels asking for snacks, seals basking on the rocks off shore and we were even chased by a bald eagle once. Our grandsons like the old logging equipment along the trail...More

At this time of year, there are a lot of Salmon Berries along the trail, so I munched on quite a few. The path is great and a relaxing place walk or ride.

It is an easy safe walk. The wide trail might even be wheelchair accessable. Historical remnants of the lumbering history found on the way.

A nice park next to the stony beach with a big playground and water splashing to play around for kids. You can also play beach volleyball or just enjoy the scenery from a bench.

Took just over an hour from the Comox ferry area and just absolutely lovely. Partly shaded, next to the beach, and very peaceful. I came back the next day for a run in the area as well.
