You can touch all the exihibits here. It give you an idea of what is was like under this Socialist regime. to buy a TV was 4x annual salary, people had money but shops were empty, , and a new car had a 15 year waiting list, and it was a trebant.

This museum is full of interactive exhibits, but I tend to prefer more in depth information I can read. It did have some of this, but not as much as I would have hoped. It is geared more for people who like hands-on exhibits, and if that's your thing, this is the museum for you.…
This museum was fascinating. There lots of multimedia and interactive items and the whole experience provided a fascinating insight into the DDR. Two hours flew by. Highly recommended.
Definitely something for everyone interested in the reality of how life was in East Berlin. I have never been in such an interactive museum. Great value for money.
