La Mer is an open-air shopping and destination area, located on the beach. Contains a lot of upscale restaurants. Nice place to take the family for a day of shopping and leisure. But be prepared to splurge.

I guess around 20-25 mins depending on the traffic. The best part is that it has a relaxing ambiance and has a wonderful setup for a drink and dinner by the sea. You will enjoy it if you are going around December /Jan.
