Visited tasting room while staying at Belhurst Castle. Wine selection is good and we did purchase some. Tasting staff were friendly but did not seem as into their wine as other vineyards we visited.

Very large open area next to the historic "castle." You can dine and stay overnight. Interesting history. In the winery section, some good retail options and lots of different wines. Near the town of Geneva.

We had a wine tasting in the small gift shop. The big thing was the wine. Didn't partake of the wine. The food was really good. We had our choice of steak, fish, vegan.. and it was great. We did not stay the night here....More

I visit Belhurst each time I visit. I love how they allow you to sit and enjoy their beautiful and peaceful probably. Nice gift shop. I haven't eaten there or stayed yet but it is worth a stop. The parking lot is huge.

Go on a nice day so that you can enjoy the beautifully maintained grounds. They were able to take care of our large group (with a reservation). Small charge for a tasting that included a souvenir glass and $2.00 off a bottle of wine when...More

As someone staying at Belhurst Castle for my weekend at Seneca Lake, I had to try the winery located within the castle. The tasting room itself isn't anything special but the castle is charming and the grounds outside are pristine which lead to a dock...More

Hi Victoria, Thank you for your review! A bottle of wine enjoyed at our docks sounds like a great evening to us! We hope to see you again soon! Carly Morabito, Marketing Manager, Belhurst Castle

There were 20 of us and they accommodated us very well. We had snacks with our samplings. Some chose the wine while others chose beer. Everyone was satisfied and the castle, the grounds, the lake were all beautiful. Even in the winter!!

If you are staying at the Castle, you have to go outside in the cold to get into tasting room/shop. that's kind of weird no entrance from lobby. All staying get a free tasting which it looks like everyone was doing all at the same...More

Fun little shop, but the wine staff is not too interested in imparting much information about the wines. Small winery, decent wines, but nothing to 'search out' for that special occasion.
