Beautiful hike through forest and past Brown Lake to Narrows to watch extreme kayakers play in the changing tides. Unforgettable.

The walk through this amazing forest is not to be missed if you're in the area. It's about a 45 minute walk from the start of the trail to the prize at the end. The amazing rapids where the tides meet. We were lucky enough...More

There are 3 different aspects of this park - each of which merit a visit, but if you time it right you can see all in one visit: the trail/hike itself to the water , the rushing water due to the tidal flows and the...More

This is a “must do” on any visit to the Sunshine Coast if you have good mobility and enjoy the outdoors! The trails are well kept, the rapids take your breath away, and if you go early in the day there is an amazing little...More

Truly one of the must see wonders on the coast, standing waves and whirlpools delight visitors, caution, no guardrails, and rocks may be slippery.

I've always wanted to see the Skookumchuk Narrows, and that possibly coloured my appreciation of the whole experience. For me, it had meant a lot of ducks to line up, and so I was pretty flooded with happiness to finally get there and see it....More

Have visited here twice in 7 years. The first time, the rapids were at their peak and it was unbelievable! Such an incredible thing to see. This time, the rapids were very weak (relati ely), but still very impressive! The walk is very pleasant and...More

This is a beautiful 50 min - 1.5 hr walk on a well maintained path through a lush forest canopy. Hiking boots not required, but solid footwear a help. The trail is undulating - more so than I anticipated. It was a tough slog for...More
