We love The Island! Always a destination when coming to the mountains. Lots to do and great shopping. Never get bored.

This place is great! But, as a fair warning, if it’s in the Fall or Spring when Pierson Forge is generally more crowded, this place is overrun! There’s plenty of entertainment and food choices. The shops are great (my personal favorite is the 5 and...More

Great time! Good moonshine at Ole Smoky, just end your evening with “Bubba” at the “XXX moonshine on Teaster lane”” If you don’t you have not experienced the best!

We stopped by the Island to see what it was like. We spent six hours there. There are several smaller rides for the kids, we had fun in the arcade, enjoyed the air conditioned big wheel, the moonshine shop and the sweet shop. It was...More

Typical tourist spot with Margaritaville Hotel attached and others close. Shopping and food to spend a while. Really feel like other reviews were based on the fact that it is something newer in the area.

We always stop when in Pigeon Forge. The light show at the fountain is one of our favorites. There are many great stores to walk through and we always find new things to enjoy.

The island is nothing like Dollywood. Dollywood is a full blown amusement park with lots of rides, roller coasters, shows, and shops. The island has a Ferris wheel and some kiddy rides, and a ropes course. The island is... More

I wouldn't take a dog there. If you intend to just walk around then it would probably be fine. It's very crowded and it's so hot I would be concerned for their paws. They are not allowed into the establishments.
