Nearly 700 hundred meters long, Wenceslas Square represents the most frequent and buzzing crossroads of the city. The National Museum in the upper part of the square watches over your spending spree in countless shops and retail stores lining the entire square, which ends at Na Příkopě, the most famous shopping street. When tired or broke, you can explore the city's underpasses, which can take you to the Old Town or to the courtyards of art nouveau houses with secret gems of greenery, white benches and rose bushes that provide unexpected peace in the midst of the city. Be sure to pay a visit to the traditional cafés, classic Czech pubs, cinemas and theaters. National Theater near the river has a lot to offer to foreigners. Go to the river bank and enjoy live music and drinks while watching a sunset behind Prague Castle.

This hotel was in a great location and the staff were extremely helpful with all of our planning including the best tours. Luckily we were there when it wasn't too hot as there is no air conditioning. Not an issue in Sep. There wasn't a lift to get luggage into our room so we carried it up 3 flights of stairs. We changed our room which was accessible by lift and this was then a lot easier. Definitely would stay there again as long as not in the peak of summer. Diana at front of house was a fantastic host and help with local information.

This is (to me) a beautiful building which is furnished in an antique style appropriate for the building. My room was massive and although fundamentally 'antique' in style, the bathroom and toilet are modern. It had all of the usual facilities, fresh linen, towels, drinking water replaced daily etc. It didn't have air-conditioning, which didn't bother me as I don't like it. Two fans were provided. There weren't any tea/coffee making facilities but again this was not a problem for me. My room overlooked a very busy main road which was noisy and Czech drivers seemed to be pretty 'manic'. The room had a double window system an outer window and then a space of about 18" and another window. This double window system certainly helps with noise reduction although isn't 100% satisfactory. However, I must say I didn't have a problem sleeping and my home is in a traffic free area so perfectly quiet. A total contrast to my room. I assume that there are rear facing rooms which would avoid this? An interesting thing is the lift system! This seems to stop at even floor numbers so if you are on the first floor (for example) you have to press 2 and then walk down a smallish flight of steps to floor one. This is something to consider if, like me, stairs are difficult. I managed to survive! The breakfast buffet was plentiful and replaced as foods were cleared from the serving dishes. I saw some diners with plates piled high with practically everything on offer!!! The hotel is positioned just a few minutes walk from Wencelas Square and the statue of 'good king'. I found the staff to be friendly and helpful. Of particular note, I must mention Rodion who worked at the reception. A lovely human being, helpful, kind etc etc etc. The hotel is lucky to have him!

Couldn’t have wished for better. One of the best and most extensive breakfast buffets I’ve had. Rodian, the front desk manager, is an exceptional human being. So kind and helpful with advice and recommendations. He’s the kind of person that makes traveling so much more enjoyable! Great views over the city from the rooftop terrace/bar and complementary daily welcome drinks! Next to Muzeum Metro Station. Easy walk to old town. €27 from the Airport.

We booked a 5 person room at the hotel which was very accessible towards the top of the main street. Around 15 minutes walk from Old Town and a lot of resteraunts, coffee shops and bars nearby. We managed to book a very reasonable price, too.

beautiful comfortable place and the staff took so much care. I was here from 26th july to 28th july'19 - the most amazing and comfortable stay - the manager with a golden beard - he was soo sweet - he ensured that his guest enjoyed every minute of the stay in the hotel and left happy. not once did we feel we were away from home . Prague was good because he made us so comfortable.
