I took my wife to Sycamore for a relaxing birthday getaway. We enjoyed everything from riding bikes down the Bob Jones trail, to our yoga classes and especially our private hot tub. Great setting and truly a perfect place to unwind.

I rated the overall property a 3 as our room didn’t have a microwave and the only place to get food on the property is one restaurant. The lunch service and food wasn’t great but the dinner service and food was amazing!! The lagoon is absolutely amazing!!! The hot tubs had beautiful views and while it rained when we were in them, it just made the scenery even more beautiful. I wish we knew we were able to bring food and drinks with us to all the hot tubs and lagoon as it states it’s not allowed but I saw people bringing stuff up. The hosts are very sweet and aim to please for sure. Overall, I would go again and come more prepared.

Wonderful visit and groupon brought us to Sycamore Mineral Springs Resort. The spa and mineral springs made the visit restful and a delight. The food at the restaurant for our Thanksgiving dinner was amazing, delicious and well served!

After a hellish drive from LA that took 5 hours complete with rain, bumper to bumper traffic, grapevine closed, we pulled into the facility just in time for our 3pm massages. Wish we would have gotten longer massages but they are a bit pricey. My husband liked his better than I did, but we were just so happy to be off the road and being taken care of, it didn’t matter. We finished our massages & checked in and went up to our room, which was beautiful!! Big beautiful bed, we just melted into it. Please note that the hot tubs do have a strong sulfur odor and since I have a nose like a bloodhound, it initially bothered me. Since it was Thanksgiving we opted for early reservations at the Gardens of Avila restaurant, which had a five course dinner with divine options including those for vegans. Everything was delicious, well appointed, service attentive but not overwhelming...lovely. They have golf carts to move guests around the facility which is quite large and has rooms up on the hills. They run 24 hours as well! When I noticed there was a bit of mildew on one of the bathroom shelves, the assistant manager took care of it immediately! And invited us back again with a room upgrade. His name is Devin and he & his front desk cohort, I believe her name was Allie were just so wonderful. Can’t wait to go back and really walk around, the grounds are so gorgeous, beautiful gardens...just so lovely. Breakfast the next day was also just delicious!

Dedicated hot bath tub on the balcony was very nice like the Japanese “Onsen”. The employee are having good hospitalities. I wanted small table in the room for the meal and drinking because felt cold on balcony of Winter.
