First visit for date night. A lil pricey but worth it. The service was great, except the one staff who seemed to be tossing our plates at us. Wifey got a smoke signal craft cocktail with rosemary. Very nice. We shared the goat cheese salad....More

We arrived about 7:45 pm and was seated adjacent to the bar at a high table. The starters, the main courses and the drinks were all quite good. It was our first time to try this restaurant and we will give it a go again...More

They do not take reservations so if you have a large party, get there early. But, make sure all of your party arrives at once. We had a party of 8 but only 6 of us were there on time. We wanted to be seated...More

We went to Ember for my birthday and the food was outstanding!!! Everything was great about it. Definitely try to get there early or plan on a bit of a wait as it's very popular. The Filet mignon was so tender that I didn't need...More

Ember is a wood-fired farm-to-table fine dining establishment, that boasts a monthly seasonal menu change. I recommend Ember to everyone I meet. The two things I hear most: the wait is too long; and skepticism of a menu that typically is an equal balance of...More

This is a major dining destination in San Luis Obispo County, particularly so for people who love our fine local wines. The food is top-notch with everything made from scratch daily, including their baked treats. Chef Brian Collins was a prime chef for Alice Waters...More

I eat at Ember about twice a year, but may try to go more now that I live nearby. I last went there a few nights ago for my husband's birthday. We got there before 5:00 and ate outside so as to have no wait....More

Great food, good service, what every restaurant should be. It's even worth the 30-45 minute wait to get a table.

MUST be the outfits? Trendy at best. Over priced for this area is all I got. Food was ok, but nothing special. I wish them all the luck in the world trying to stay open. I won't be back.

If you are in the area, go! Fantastic service and even better food. Local, fresh, seasonal menu with most of it wood fired. By far the best dinner we've had in quite some time!

Each month Embers has a new farm-to-table inspired menu and you can see it on their website. Prices are moderate, in my opinion. Enjoy !
