Ember Restaurant in Arroyo Grande is all about serving authentic hand-crafted food cooked by wood fire in our open kitchen in the dining space. We aim to create the ideal environment to experience Central Coast food and wine, as well as craft cocktails from premium spirits. We hope to see you at the ember table soon...
Another great meal with superb service. The bone marrow was fantastic. Scallops were my favorite. The beef ribeye was so tender. Abalone with pork belly was devine. The mixed drinks ( especially the penicillin ) were quenching. We will be back.
Everything about this place is perfect...from the ambiance, to the friendliness of the staff, to the wonderful menu! Be careful not to fill up on the delicious artisan bread before your meal arrives. Soooo yummy! We usually order the beef that comes over smashed potatoes,...More
My wife had the sand dabs. I had the rib eye steak. It was cooked to perfection and served with broclini and scalloped potatoes that were to die for. We started off with a pepperoni pizza...it had the best pepperoni on it that I've ever...More
Nice middle sized restaurant with open kitchen in front. We did not have reservations but got seated at the bar. Mixologist new what He was doing and the bar had many top end liquors especially bourbon and scotch. Amazing wine selection. Had a starter of...More

Despite it being a Thursday is what extremely busy....More
We keep coming back here because they have great food and service and they change their menu every month. They always make sure that nothing tastes “ordinary”. Even simple things look and taste special.
3rd time is a charm(?)...not really. Visiting my children in the area..it’s considered the best restaurant in this beach community so I wanted to treat them to what is considered “haute cuisine” In this coastal community... wrong...what a complete disappointment, especially this final time.
Their October menu has a delicious and succulent duck entry. A hind of sweet and cooked to perfection. I also had the heirloom tomato salad which was bursting with fresh favors. My friend order the tuna appetizer. Check out the pictures below. A bottle of...More

It is designed for fantastic adult dining, i.e. date night, get togethers, etc., but older children love it, too like Middle school/high school age because the food is so very good and a great selection. It really would not be a comfortable eating place for younger children.

Hi, I wrote one of the reviews and my husband and I are regulars at the outstanding Ember. The only serve dinner Wednesday through Sunday (dark Monday and Tuesday) but they open at 4 p.m. and we like to get there early, by skipping lunch, so we get in before there's a long line of eager diners. The menu is seasonal and changes each month. You can read the menu menu on their webpage at emberwoodfire. Ember is in a class of its own, food quality is excellent and the prices are reasonable, that's why it's so popular among locals and visitors.
